Precious Child
Precious
child with eyes so blue,
What
would I do without you?
You’re
growing so fast, so tall,
Now
you run, no longer crawl.
Precious
child who's smile's so bright,
You're
the one who carries my inner-light.
It's
only for you that I continue to live,
So a
better life for you I may give.
Precious
child with your innocent youth.
Waiting
for the tooth fairy when you've lost a tooth.
Being
good, for old Saint Nicholas' sake,
Patient
when dealing with a small tummy ache.
Precious
child with your delicate mind,
How
I am glad, that you are mine.
I
stake a claim on you, you belong to me,
And
when we leave, we shall finally be free.
