I wrote this piece for a speech I am to present to the class and I thought it would be a good "attention getting device".
Poetry is not literature
It is a work of art
The way words flow together
It's the melody of your heart
The words,
the lines;
The beautiful mastery
that makes it divine.
The emotions expressed,
to how it makes one feel.
