Loss of a Friend
I turn and look at you my true and only friend
we stuck side by side, together till the end.
The end however came to quick,as our friendship has been broken
and my heart went along with it, taken like a token
The end has come way too soon
While happiness runs along with you
And you've left me behind
A mere memory in your mind
A time when we were crazy
To active to be lazy
Having fun was all we could do
Having fun, just me and you
Remember the times we were on the swing
Lifting our arms as if they were wings
Though i was a leader and you were a follower
We were friends so it didn't matter
Our friendship is no longer strong
Together, never had we'd been proven wrong
A dispute every now and then
But you or i, a hand we'd lend
But those times are now our past
& now only our memories will last
True friendship they all called it
Describing us as a perfect fit
Our friendship, it'll never return.
Us apart, we grown to learn
Small talk now, here and there
But less could you or i care
Is it only me in this pain?
For a target, I'm the main?
True it seems, it appears that way,
As good friends we could not stay.
No amends shall we make,
For yours or my own sake.
Together I was the "in" and you were the "sane"
But now I am forever in this pain.
